*~CHAPTER 18~*

That night, everyone prepared for the night’s events. The guys begged their parents and surprisingly they agreed to take the younger kids out for the night. At the Hansons’ house, Ike, Tay, and Zac searched through their horrendous room for outfits.

“Hey Ike? Where are my yellow docs?” Zac said, while shoving through a pile of clothes,”I can’t find them anywhere!”

“I don’t understand why you like those things, there are so incredibly bright, they could pass for headlights!”

“Shut up Ike!!” he replied, “Tay! Do you know where they are?”

“Wha? Can’t I take a shower in peace!” exclaimed a wet Taylor, “What did you say Zac?”

“Do you know where my docs are? I can not find them anywhere!”

“You’re better off without those bright things” Tay answered, “I swear you can see them a mile away”

Zac huffed and went out of the room to ask his mother.

“Geez, what’s the big deal?” Tay said rummaging through some clothes, “Maybe we should clean this room”

“Yeah, maybe” Ike said, fixing his hair.

After another half an hour, they were all dressed and ready. Zac stayed home to greet the friends, and Ike and Tay went to get Star.

THE JENKS’ HOUSE

The two girls struggled to try getting ready for the party. Well, Christine to be correct. Star, being the tomboy had finished about half an hour ago and was listening to loud rock music in her room. Hearing the doorbell, Star went downstairs and opened the door for the two.

“Hey, i’m just going to get Christine” She said, “I’ll be right back”

She opened the door to her little sister and found her struggling to find the perfect shirt.

“come on, they’re already here!” Star said, “just wear this” She handed her a black tank top.

After about 5 minutes of persuading, finally she gave in. It took them about 10 more minutes to get back to the hansons’ house, where all four of them were greeted by lots of friends. It seemed that everyone in town was there that night.

At first, the party was really just laid back and everyone was just having a good time. But after about an hour, it got pretty wild. The guys were seeing people they’ve never met before, and it was really crowded and rowdy.

“TAY!!” Zac yelled over the loud music, “TAY SOMEONE BROUGHT BEER AND WE’RE GOING TO BE IN BIG TROUBLE IF WE DON’T KEEP SOME OF THESE PEOPLE OUT!!”

“OKAY I’LL GET IKE AND STAR TO HELP US OUT!!”

Searching through the crowds, Taylor found Ike near the kitchen trying to calm down two obviously drunk guys. Seeing Tay, he motioned him to help him. Between the three brothers, they got out most of the wild party guests to leave, although Isaac had to take the drunk ones home. All that was left right now was a small group of about 15 friends, including the three, Star, and Christine.

“Hey, lets play a game!” exclaimed Zac, “Something like.....TRUTH OR DARE!!”

“Zac, isn’t that a little juvenile?” Matt said, not liking the idea of the intelligent ‘game’ Zac came up with.

Zac snorted, “Well what do you suggest, mr. maturity!?”

He gave a smile, “I suggest ‘Seven Minutes In Heaven’!” Zac rolled his eyes as he took off his hat and wrote all their names on little pieces of paper. “And I also suggest that our little pop star Zac takes the honors and draws first”
