Star and Tay were sort of talking and grooving to the music when Matt annouced that Zac was about to pick out his partner. Zac, well being 12 at the time was particulary nervous since he hadn’t even kissed a girl before in his life. He was over the ‘cooties’ stage, but not quite into the ‘I like girls’ phase that his brothers had gotten into so long ago. In fact, he was quite disgusted to find how Taylor wanted Star so bad when he had read the journal.

But, Zac didn’t want to look like a wuss in front of about 15 of their closest friends, especially around his brothers. He wouldn’t be able to live it down if he didn’t get through this. So, he prayed that this wouldn’t be as bad as his brain was telling him it would be and picked a name. Swallowing hard, he looked at the small piece of paper.

“Oh gross!” he exclaimed, “I am not, and I repeat, am not going to kiss Ike!”

Matt burst out laughing, “Sorry kid, you picked the name and you have to kiss him”

“No way Matt! I am not kissing Zac,” Isaac exclaimed in disgust, “Pick another name”

“Fine, fine but if you pick another guy, we are all gonna make you do it!” Matt said holding his stomach and still laughing.

Zac shuffled the little pieces of paper in the hat, making sure that Isaac’s name was at the bottom. Praying to god that he wouldn’t get another guy’s name, he picked again.

His heart skipped half a beat....Slowly, he said the name outloud. “I picked Christine” Now not only was he nervous, but embarrassed since he did have some so called ‘feelings’ for her, and he was afraid he might do the wrong thing. ‘I knew this was a bad idea’ he thought as the both of them went into the closet.

“Have fun you two!!” Matt called out from behind the closed door. “Now don’t try any moves on my lil sister Zac!” Star chimed in laughing.

The both of them stood there for about a minute until Christine decided to just get over it and leaned over. Their lips touched without much movement and gradually they got a little more comfortable. Zac’s eyes opened wide, “Well I guess that wasn’t that bad” “Yeah,” Christine answered in agreement. They both were interrupted by Matt “Are you both fully dressed?” he yelled. Zac and Christine blushed and stepped out of the closet.

Zac pointed suddenly at his brother who was laughing hysterically, “Well Tay, since you think that was so funny, i’m picking you to go next”

Taylor smiled evilly at Zac, “Okay, i’ll draw” He put his hand in the hat and pulled out a name. “Oh no, I picked Star!” He exclaimed. Zac’s eyes opened wide, “I can’t believe you have all the luck!” Taylor laughed as he went into the closet and added, “I’m gonna beat your 4 minutes in the closet!”

In the dark room, Star spoke up, “What did you do, I don’t believe you have this much luck” Taylor laughed and pulled a few strips of paper from his pocket, “I slipped in one of these” “Oh my god, you are such a cheater!!” Star laughed.

“Yeah, but I cheated for you, doesn’t that count?” He replied charmingly. Before she could answer he leaned over and started kissing her. Things were getting heavy when Zac’s loud voice was heard and the door opened. “7 minutes was a long time ago Tay!” He said disgustingly, “Don’t you two look like lovebirds?”
