Due to the promotional tour, the guys were flown all over the world that summer. Their week in France ended, and replacing it were countless interviews in Europe, most of Asia, and, if they were lucky, maybe in the U.S. Unfortunately, even if they did play in the U.S., it was never near Tulsa. Weeks had turned into months and so forth, sending the boys in a whirlwind. Everywhere they went, there were screaming fans. Everything they heard were screams.
JAKARTA......
“So we’re just going to do like a small performance and a press conference?” Tay asked, fiddling with his watch. Receiving a positive answer, he closed his eyes and relaxed. It had been so long since he relaxed, the pressure from all the media and fans had made him a nervous wreck.
Suddenly, he heard high pitched screams from the crowd outside. Sighing, he looked over and saw his father taping the fans. Normally he wouldn’t think it was a problem, but lately all the taping had seemed like a chore to them. They had to be relaxed and look somewhat happy whenever they were seen on camera. Sure, there were times where the smiles and laughs were genuine, like the time in Europe. They had the best time in Sega World and the Doc Martens store was the greatest. Smiling, he remembered the happier times on this tour.
But there was one aspect that he missed about Tulsa and normal life. Even though it had been so long, he remembered that day he left to go on a week tour in France. He didn’t even say goodbye to Star. Taylor sighed at just the thought of Starla, how he had just left her behind without a proper goodbye. He didn’t even know if she remembered the date that was supposed to happen about a year ago.
Breaking his trance, Tay realized that it was time for them to perform. As he shook his tambourine and sang along with his brothers, Taylor realized the crowded looked a bit bigger minute by minute. Pretty soon, the crowd was just a way too big concert. All three of them ran into the van. Even though guards and Jason was holding the fans back, they still managed to break through.
“Man, that was just nuts!!” Zac exclaimed, “lock the doors!”
“Well, I guess the conference is cancelled” Ike said laughing.
“Unless they want us to get killed, I think the conference is cancelled, Ike” Tay said looking out the window of their tour bus.
BALI....
“When are we ever going to go home?” An annoyed Zac said irritably.
It had been almost more than a summer, the promotional tour was turning into a year round trip.
Walker Hanson overheard his son and finished talking on the phone. He had just received wonderful news. After discussing with Mercury, the tour was finally coming to an end. Walking over to his three sons, he smiled.
“Well, we are going home in a week!”
Immediately the three boys’ eyes lit up, they were finally going home.
